IMPIC (Instituto dos Mercados Públicos do Imobiliário e da Construção, I.P.) or roughly "Institute for the Public Markets of Real Estate and Construction", has approved Texcoat - Revestimentos e Pinturas for new categories and higher levels of qualification. The company's charter has been updated to properly reflect all of its qualifications, expanding the spectrum of fields the company is certified for to nearly a dozen categories. Under the new charter, Texcoat is classed as rank 5, recognizing it's ability to execute specialized work in any projects valued at over two and a half million euros.

In 2015, by force of law, the institute previously known as InCI was restructured under it's current name (IMPIC, I.P.), proceeding to regulate the construction and real estate sectors as well as their respective markets and associated public contracts.
